Anne and Jonas tried different combinations of ingredients to make their pretzels until they found the one recipe that was better than the best, and the pretzel was perfected. Barfresh, the leader in ready-to-blend frozen beverages, manufactures and distributes whirl class blended smoothies, shakes, and frappes in a way that has transformed the blended beverage industry. In 2005, Founder and CEO Riccardo Delle Coste recognized an exploding interest in the "better for you" beverage segment, so he created Barfresh. Since 2009, frozen beverages have been the fastest growing category, a $25 billion industry, with smoothies representing one of the highest gross profit margins.
Today, as consumer demand increases for healthier alternatives, two major problems arise for restaurants and foodservice operators that want to serve blended beverages - labor costs and product waste both make it all but impossible for this booming category to be profitable.
The company's proprietary, patented system uses portion-controlled pre-packaged beverage ingredients that deliver freshly made frozen beverages that are quick, cost efficient, better for you, and without waste. Barfresh beverages contain real fruit, low fat frozen yogurt or sorbet, fruit juice, and even the ice, rivaling any juice bar. Barfresh blended beverages are cost efficient with low capital cost for the operator and leave zero waste. With just a blender, Barfresh beverages deliver a great tasting, perfectly portioned, and freshly blended beverage that has no artificial flavors or colors.
Headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, Barfresh has nationwide distribution in thousands of restaurants from coast to coast including full-service, fast-casual, fast food restaurants, hospitals, hotels, amusement Parks, colleges and universities, golf courses, health clubs, and casinos.
Since 1951, Bueno Foods has grown into one of the Southwest's premier producers of New Mexican and Mexican style foods, serving restaurant and retail customers throughout the US.
Bueno Foods started out as a small neighborhood grocery store called The Ace Food Store. In 1946, several brothers, members of a long-time New Mexican family, had just returned from serving in World War II when they scraped together enough money to start a grocery business. At first, the small operation was quite successful . . . that is until grocery store chains started infiltrating the Albuquerque market. The Baca brothers soon found out their small “mom and pop” store could not compete with the Piggly Wigglys and Safeways of the world. They wanted to make a go of their business however, and they began to think of ideas to make their enterprise work.
At first, they started integrating their mother’s delicious cooking into their business, adding a carry-out component to the store. The homemade traditional dishes were a hit but the Baca brothers realized, the carry-out couldn’t sustain them forever. At this time, they formed a partnership, manufacturing corn and flour tortillas on a pie crust roller, tamales, and posole. They moved their operation from Bridge, around the corner to Airway, the site of their childhood home. Then, the Baca brothers had an idea. They talked about it around the supper table with their mother and father. They talked about it day and night. It was the early 1950s and every household was getting a freezer. Birdseye frozen vegetables were becoming the rage. The brothers asked themselves two questions: “Why couldn’t they take their heritage and preserve it, so to speak? Why couldn’t they start with an autumn tradition and use freezers to make it last until the following year’s harvest?” In other words, they had the idea to take chile, roast it over an open flame as the wonderful New Mexico autumn tradition dictated, and freeze it so that people could enjoy green chile year-round.
The Baca brothers were the first to flame roast green chile on a commercial scale. There was no equipment for this kind of process, so they had to build it. There was no process, so they had to invent it. And so they did, more than 60 years ago. With a handful of products as their focus, Bueno Foods was born, founded in 1951. So, for over half a century now, Bueno Foods has grown steadily from a small neighborhood grocery store into one of the Southwest’s premier producers of New Mexican and Mexican foods, still owned and operated by the Baca family. Consistent quality and service, customer responsiveness, innovation and hard work have resulted in Bueno’s steady upward growth and success.
Since 1974, Burke has provided the highest-quality pizza toppings and other fully cooked meat products for the foodservice and prepared foods industries. Our philosophy is to give our customers what they want, when they want it, every time. Burke delivers products that are consistent, convenient, authentic and flavorful. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated each and every day through safe and consistent products, accurate product development and exceptionally responsive customer service.
Headquartered in Nevada, Iowa, Burke Corporation manufactures and markets pizza toppings and other fully cooked meat products to be used as ingredients in other people’s products – restaurants, foodservice establishments, frozen manufacturers of entrees and appetizers, and consumers. Throughout more than 30 years in the topping business and 50 years in the pizza industry, Burke has served more than 2,000 customers.
The company originated in Ames in 1957 as Pronto Foods, a frozen pizza producer. Bill Burke Sr. joined the company as operations manager in 1964 and purchased the company in 1967. The company shifted direction in 1974, when Mr. and Mrs. Burke changed the name to Burke Marketing Corporation, sold the frozen pizza line and began producing and marketing select recipes of meat pizza toppings. A focus on custom formulation and private labeling was a natural next step.
In 1984, the company outgrew its Ames production facility and moved the major production line to its current location. Since that time, the company has constantly updated with multiple expansions, implementation of new technologies and the introduction of new product lines. In 1991, after more than 20 years at the helm, Bill Burke Sr. transitioned leadership to his son, Bill Burke Jr.
In 1999, Burke expanded its capacity, improved its quick-freeze process, and created a new Technical Center to house its chemical and microbiological laboratories. In 2004, Burke’s most aggressive expansion project to date increased production capacity, improved efficiency in freezing packing and distribution, and created a fully automated clean room. Burke Corporation has experienced steady growth over the years, now employing more than 350 team members and running three shifts per day.
While Burke continues to grow to meet the needs of its customers, the company’s ongoing commitment remains: To give customers what they want, when they want it, every time.
What does it mean to be a family company? We are owned and operated by the Buddig family. We're proud to be entering our fourth generation of family ownership, which is nearly unheard of in today's corporate world. When we call ourselves a family company, we're also talking about your family. We have a proud tradition of innovating to better serve your family with fresh, great tasting, affordable meats. We're not content with meeting USDA standards. Instead, we're guided by a simple principle: Would we serve this to our family?
Buddig and Old Wisconsin have a reputation for high quality, delicious meats and handcrafted sausages. And with a convenient variety of flavors, serving sizes, and cuts, we have the perfect product options available to fit any need. With over 60 years of experience, we’ve customized solutions for generations of projects, events, and unique needs, and we’re ready to help make your next project a huge success!
With a wide range of flavors, varieties, and dietary options, Buddig and Old Wisconsin offer delicious options for everyone: Quality Lunch Meats, Hardwood Smoked, Flame Grilled Chicken, Shelf-Stable Hardwood Smoked Sausages, Gluten-Free, Allergen-Free, No-MSG Added, and Grilling Sausages.
Our hardwood smoked Fast Fuel sausage snack sticks are a shelf-stable source of tasty, on-the-go energy. Available in Beef and Honey Brown Sugar Turkey varieties, they’re low in sodium, fat, and sugar, and contain 40 calories or fewer per stick. That means they meet USDA Smart Snack standards, making them perfect for school food programs.
The seeds of the company were planted in Chef Paul's mind back in the days when he was traveling around the United States, slipping his tasty combinations of dried herbs and spices into the otherwise unexciting dishes served in the restaurants where he worked. Once back in Louisiana, he continued his practice of adding his unique blends to recipes, and when customers asked the secret of his seasoning, he would make up little batches to give away.
These packets proved enormously popular, and soon putting them together became a time-consuming practice. After discussing the matter with his employees, everyone agreed that a separate facility was needed and the blends could be sold on their own. Not only would such an arrangement free the restaurant staff for their primary responsibilities, it would enable many more home cooks to add Chef Paul's seasonings to their food.
And so a company was born. There were obstacles to overcome, of course, but through perseverance and ingenuity the fledgling firm grew so that now it occupies its own modern 30,000 square foot plant, with 38 employees and distribution in all 50 states and 25 foreign countries.
DeIorio’s is a dependable brand that has become a staple in commercial and home kitchens. Since 1924 and a few generations of loyal customers have allowed us to develop a line of dough products that can be found in eateries from pizzerias to full service restaurants. Insisting on quality ingredients, continuing with old family recipes, and developing expertise in processing have been successful practices over multiple generations.
The world didn’t need another bag of chips, but it did need more companies that wanted to do things right. That’s why we started Deep River Snacks. We didn’t just want to treat our friends to the best tasting snacks ever; we wanted to help them too.
So we set up our family-owned business in Old Lyme, CT, a small town with a history of independence and volunteerism – perfect for a company committed to giving back.
We’re known for our kettle-cooked potato chips, but we actually started with popcorn. It took 19 recipes before our Sharp White Cheddar Popcorn beat our competitors in a blind taste test, but we think you’ll agree; it was worth it.

Dedication. This word means a lot to us at Eli's Cheesecake. For almost two decades, we have been dedicated to providing our customers with products and services that live up to the name "Chicago's Finest." When my father Eli Schulman decided to create a special dessert for his restaurant so many years ago, he couldn't have realized how famous that dessert was going to become. Using the finest ingredients, an innovative recipe, and a lot of love, he developed a cheesecake so delicious that his customers demanded more.
At Eli’s that means everything from coming up with the perfect recipe and selecting the finest ingredients to hand-decorating and staying up all night to bake our crisp all-butter cookie crusts. Eli Schulman believed baking was an art. So when he created the very first Eli’s Cheesecake as the signature dessert for his award-winning restaurant, Eli’s the Place for Steak, a legend for 39 years, his customers proclaimed it “Chicago’s Finest.” With the same care and dedication demonstrated by Eli himself, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company, a family owned business, has been baking up delicious cheesecakes and other desserts since 1980. At Eli’s, we slow bake our cheesecakes in small batches, taking the time to allow our ingredients to develop to their optimum flavors…the key to achieving Eli’s unique taste and texture. Eli’s prefers using regional ingredients from local farms and producers who share Eli’s commitment to quality.
English Bay is a beautiful beach that is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is west of the downtown peninsula separating the bay from Burrard Inlet. The lively West End neighborhood of Denman St. and Davie St. begin at English Bay, where on both streets you'll find a great variety of restaurants, cafes and shops. In 1983 we were one of the popular retail bakery outlets on Denman street. We have moved from the bakery to manufacturing plants but still kept the name as inspiration for the café that started our journey.
Our founder, Jack Seguin, created the first cookie recipes that were hand scooped and baked for the retail outlet. The same quality ingredients are found in our unchanged base recipes of today. To meet the North American demand, our gourmet cookies are now made in larger manufacturing facilities with the same attention to superior quality as we did when we started in the small café. Now English Bay has 6 food plants that employ over 200 people. In Canada we have 2 facilities located in Delta, British Columbia; 3 in Mississauga, Ontario and in the US we have one facility in Columbus, Ohio.
English Bay Batter is available for all distribution channels: Food Service, In-Store Bakeries, Private Label, C-Stores and Club Stores. We offer our own (English Bay Batter) brand, co-manufacturing, Private Label and blending opportunities.
Our Research and Development is on-going, aiming to introduce new and exciting products to complement our delectable bakery lines. We are an aggressive, flexible company dedicated to satisfying customer needs and market demands.
We offer Frozen Cookie dough in pre-portion sizes, Scoop and bake pails; Chubs; Break and bake; and Seasonal Canisters. We also have frozen muffin batter in pails for scoop and bake convenience. Our Baked plant supplies gourmet cookies, muffins, brownies, fruit bars and graham crumbs. We expanded our offerings with a pastry line including biscuits, scones, cinnamon buns, crescent rolls, and pie crusts; a dry blend division offering bakery and drink mixes; salad dressings available in pails to foodservice; and our newest member is our fine line of English Bay chocolates.
"Spice Up Your Life" with our custom seasoning blends and turn your next BBQ or dinner into something truly unique. We also offer full retail and specialized in-store value added programs from our over 25 years of meat and seafood merchandising experience.

We could tell you the franks are plumper. The batter crunchier. The meat more generous. Our evalutaions show it's all true. But what it comes down to, what it all means, is this: These dogs sell.
And when you know the ingredients and process Foster Farms uses, that's exactly what you'd expect. Take our famous crunchiness. It comes from high-quality Pillsbury batter - the only kind we ever use. And these franks are plump, with a generous 50/50 meat-to-batter ratio. They're also fried in only 100% vegetable oil.
Our in-line process means the franks are stuffed, cooked in the smokehouse, chilled, put on a stick, battered, flash fried and frozen immediately fro ultimate freshness, shape and batter coverage. Better still, with Corn Dogs prepared daily in Oregon, California and Alabama, we can quickly deliver that freshness to any region of the nation.
All of which makes Foster Farms Corn Dogs, Pop Dogs and Pancake Wraps a tasty - and profitable choice for any operation. Why not add them to yours?
Foster Farms is proud to continue our heritage of offering the highest quality foods to foodservice distributors and operators. Founded in 1939 by Max and Verda Foster, California-based Foster Farms remains family owned and operated to this day. We pride ourselves on providing trustworthy, reliably fresh foods for Families and Children across Foodservice. Passport Food Group was founded in 1978 as Passport Asia Associates. Operating as Wing Hing Noodle Company, it started out literally as a "mom and pop" operation with one machine making authentic noodles for Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles.
Over the years, the company grew larger expanding its wide range of Asian noodle products and other specialty ingredients including rice and tofu products. Today, Wing Hing Foods, LLC. supplies many large chain restaurants and food retailers across the country with fresh, authentic Asian ingredients.
In January 2010, Passport Asia Associates changed its name to Passport Food Group to provide the structure for acquisition of other food companies. In addition to the products manufactured, Passport provides sourcing services to many customers to identify quality manufacturers around the globe who can support the unique flavors and textures that chefs demand and consumers crave. Our sourcing programs will be fully compliant with the Food Safety Modernization Act in 2013 as we staff our office in Asia with dedicated quality inspectors and logistics professionals.
Future plans for Passport Food Group include expansion into other specialty Southeast Asian food products for its customers to satisfy its mission of "Bringing the world to your plate."™

Path of Life is a family owned natural and organic food company based in Chicago, Illinois. Created with the desire to make eating better, flavorful, and easy for the entire family, Path of Life products are simply good clean food. Owners Jason Eckert and Scott Schmidt had both been in the food industry for several years when members of their immediate families were diagnosed with serious medical conditions. While supporting their family members through the treatment process, they both began to learn more about the benefits of eating clean. In addition to traditional medicine, many also recommended certain foods to help prevent/alleviate their symptoms. As the health of their families improved, they became more passionate about providing more options for families just like theirs. And just like that, Path of Life was born. Inspired by Psalm 16:11, Path of Life initially started out in 2013 with frozen organic broccoli and now includes a full line of frozen products.
The Path of Life difference is flavor. We believe that the best flavors aren't created in a lab but rather by combining high quality ingredients in new and innovative ways. Whether it's the ethnic inspired flavors in our quinoa dishes or the sweet taste of our organic tropical fruit blend, our Path of Life Executive Chef Damien is always cooking up new ways to make your meal times tasty and easy.
Our Mission: To provide families with high quality flavorful foods to nurture the body and the soul and pave the way to a healthier lifestyle.

Today his son Angelo Wayne Carmignani owns Randolph Packing Company. The original company and two additional manufacturing locations were relocated into a state of the art manufacturing facility in Streamwood, IL approximately ten years ago. The Old World style manufacturing philosophy continues:

All product is manufactured, blast frozen and shipped within five days. Strict sanitation and quality control programs are maintained.

What’s in your bowl of oatmeal? With Umpqua, you get thick, nutritious whole oats — and zero of the processed oats or other fillers that larger companies sneak in to cut costs. It’s crazy that our oatmeal’s secret ingredient could be that simple, but it’s true.
Raise your hand if you want a mouthful of artificial flavorings and colorings cooked up by a chemist. No? Good. We agree completely. We love our products — and love should never be artificial. Everything we put in Umpqua Oats is the real deal.
All you’ll find inside any of our products is whole oats, real nuts, premium fruit, and natural flavorings — and a whole lot more of all of them! We could use measly little nut fragments and sad slivers of dried-out fruit, but then our oatmeal wouldn’t taste nearly as wonderful as it does. At Umpqua, we’re all about thick, chewy oats and ingredients you can really sink your teeth into.
Umpqua Oats are all non-GMO, whole grain certified, kosher, and made in the U.S.A. with no gluten ingredient. Our oatmeal is better because it’s BETTER — our insistence on superior ingredients means better for you, better for the planet, and better tasting, too!
Our legacy of Upper Crust Enterprises, Inc. and Gary Kawaguchi began with Fishking Processors, Inc, better known as Mrs. Friday’s. Mrs. Friday’s began in 1955 in Los Angeles by Masashi Kawaguchi, Gary’s father. Mrs. Friday’s quickly became renowned for its innovative quality breaded seafood.
To maintain the company’s high level of quality and differentiation, the Kawaguchi family introduced to the U.S. “Panko” - Japanese Bread Crumbs as a coating on its seafood. The Panko coated shrimp and fish became a hit with restaurants nationwide. Originally the Panko bread crumbs were imported; however, in the early 1980’s the family decided to build a facility and manufacture their own Japanese Panko Bread Crumb. It was the first Panko manufacturer in the U.S.
As the family business continued to expand, Gary Kawaguchi always followed his father’s vision. Through the Company’s acquisition in the mid 90’s Gary remained on the Management team committed to the success of Mrs. Friday’s while managing the Panko business. In 2006, when the Mrs. Friday’s breaded seafood operation was merged and moved out of California, Gary purchased the Panko operation and changed the name to Upper Crust Enterprises, Inc. Gary continued the business and his family’s life-long dream of satisfying customers by providing innovative Japanese quality Panko Bread Crumbs and Tempura Batter mix.
Today, our Japanese Panko Bread Crumbs are sold throughout the entire United States, Canada, Mexico, Barbados, Belize, Italy, Israel, Australia, Panama, Ecuador, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Guam and Saipan. We supply various restaurant chains in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. We added Tempura Batter mix to our product and have customers locally and internationally. All of our products are Kosher Certified, have Zero Trans Fat and backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with the performance of our products we will refund your purchase price.

The story of Vie de France began in 1971. At that time, four people, discussing the need for quality European breads in America, committed themselves to the business of making authentic French bread. Soon they discovered what countless others before them had discovered: domestic flours and conventional baking methods could not duplicate the French product.
Determined to succeed, they recruited master French bakers, laboratory analysts and technical staff. An extensive research and development process ultimately identified the proprietary Vie De France formula for flour.
Creating the perfect formula for flour was not enough. The founders of Vie de France also imported the bricks necessary to build the ovens that would recreate the heat and humidity levels essential to turning out the golden color, perfectly crisp crust and inner texture that characterized authentic French breads. Additionally, they trained their bakers in the tradition and science of French bread baking. Vie de France began producing croissants in mid-1983. Today, the croissant is perhaps our best known and loved product.
Over the decades, Vie de France evolved into more than the nation's premier baker of authentic French bakery products. Through the acquisition of Country Epicure®, a New York-based maker of European cakes and pastries, Vie de France strengthened its position in the industry. Additionally, in 1978, Vie de France embarked on a project to develop a chain of retail establishments around the country. This project has resulted in many Vie de France Bakery/Café shops in several major cities throughout the U.S.
On June 27, 1991, a milestone in Vie de France history was achieved when Yamazaki Baking Company, Ltd. of Tokyo purchased the Vie de France Bakery division. Later, on May 27, 1994, Yamazaki Baking also purchased the Vie de France Restaurant division and formed what is today - Vie de France Yamazaki, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Yamazaki Baking Company, Ltd. of Tokyo.
Our parent company, Yamazaki Baking, is one of Japan's largest baking companies with 22 manufacturing facilities throughout Japan. Yamazaki has been involved in the bread baking business since 1948. Today, our parent company employs nearly 20,000 people in Japan. These employees are critical to the daily production of a variety of products including croissants, French breads, white breads, pastries and snack foods.
WOWBUTTER Foods is a small family business, owned and operated by the Mahon family. We started over 20 years ago with the idea of creating unique natural foods grown on our very own farms where we could provide superior quality products by completing every step of the process from "Field to Table" all in one facility. We also wanted to work towards ensuring the future viability of our family farm and at the same time help support other local neighbouring family farms.
Through many years of product development, trials and test marketing, we have progressed to the point where we now focus specifically on soy based foods using soybeans grown on our own farms and other local neighbouring farms located in the fertile soil of South-western Ontario, an area renowned worldwide for its high quality soybeans. In particular, our "Wow! Tastes Just Like Peanut Butter!" Safe-for-School WOWBUTTER spread has become our main product line that has been selected as the focus of our efforts and the product we feel is most needed and most beneficial to society.
Having experienced first hand the impact of peanut allergies in our family and the importance of providing a peanut free environment for school kids, we developed our unique Safe-for-School WOWBUTTER specifically as a peanut butter replacement that "Tastes Just Like Peanut Butter!" for use in schools and other public institutions. We are proud to produce this much needed peanut butter replacement because it provides good nutrition at a time when better child nutrition is desperately needed in society. The benefits of consuming soy foods as part of a healthy diet are well known and extremely important during childhood years and throughout adulthood.
West Point Dairy has three locations, one in West Point, Nebraska, the second in Hyrum, Utah, and the third in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Our butter is churned daily from pasteurized cream. We use no preservatives and only natural ingredients. This is why we can guarantee you will be enjoying the finest quality butter, made with care, when you use butter produced by West Point Dairy Products, LLC.
West Point Creamery was started by Frank Figge in 1947. The manufacturing location was in downtown West Point, at 402 S Main. This plant was primarily engaged in manufacturing butter, buying farm separated cream at various cream stations in northeastern Nebraska. Locally, businesses like Ortmeier Produce and Kaup Feed & Seed would purchase cream from Cuming County farmers, and then resell it to the creamery. Cream in cans from locations further away, was shipped in by rail and off-loaded at the West Point train depot. In 1960, Harry Robison joined the company both as an owner and manager.
In May of 2005, Mark & Susan Peckham sold West Point Dairy Products, Inc. to the Wuethrich family, a manufacturer of butter in Wisconsin, and the name was changed to West Point Dairy Products, LLC. Since that time, the plant has continued operations, with a growing emphasis on private labeling and specialty packaging. This emphasis, along with a continued growth and development in the condensed buttermilk sales, is putting the company in an excellent position for a successful future.
