Randolph Packing Co.
Randolph Packing Company was founded in 1928 by
Angelo Carmignani in Chicago’s famed Fulton Market district
on Randolph and Sangomon Streets. His vision of
manufacturing authentic Old World style sausage in the
tradition of his sausage making ancestors in Italy
continues today.
Today his son Angelo Wayne Carmignani owns Randolph
Packing Company. The original company and two
additional manufacturing locations were relocated into a
state of the art manufacturing facility in Streamwood, IL
approximately ten years ago. The Old World style
manufacturing philosophy continues:
- Using fresh, never frozen, 80% lean pork trimmings
received daily
- Using fresh spices, blended consistently by computer
- Literally manufacturing product to order, never
inventorying products
- Offering our customers the highest quality products
consistently
Randolph Packing Company’s commitment to quality
is displayed in its state of the art facility, literally a
plant within a plant. The sausage manufacturing is
conducted totally under refrigeration in an insulated
enclosed building within the facility. Product is never
exposed to outside temperatures. All product is
manufactured, blast frozen and shipped within five days.
Strict sanitation and quality control programs are
maintained.
Randolph Packing Company considers all our
products unique because of the personal way in which they
are manufactured.
- Using a slurry for spicing to guarantee that no “hot
bites” of spice will appear in our product
- Consistently even grind to all products
- Using quality natural casings for a better bite
